- Provide technical input into capital works, major works, lifecycle planning and asset condition assessments.
- Support the development and improvement of PPM schedules, asset registers, plant records and maintenance procedures.
- Review contractor quotations and technical scopes, challenging excessive costs, poor performance or incomplete works where appropriate.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience within technical services, facilities management, building services, commercial property maintenance or a similar technical environment.
- Experience managing maintenance delivery within a multi-tenanted commercial estate, landlord environment, facilities management setting or comparable operational estate.
- Strong practical understanding of mechanical, electrical and general building services systems.
- Good working knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance requirements.
- Working knowledge of areas such as fire safety, water hygiene, HVAC, lifts and electrical systems.
- Experience supervising staff and coordinating specialist contractors.
- Experience operating or administering permit to work arrangements and reviewing contractor RAMS.
- Experience maintaining technical and compliance records, including certificates, permits and maintenance evidence.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and respond effectively to urgent operational issues.
- Good commercial awareness, with the ability to review costs, challenge quotations and identify value-for-money solutions.
