ICT Supplier Manager

Are you an experienced ICT Supplier Manager who knows how to hold suppliers to account, cut through jargon, and drive real business outcomes?

We're looking for a commercially astute and technically aware ICT Supplier Manager to take ownership of our supplier management function. This is a key role within ICT Governance, acting as the single point of contact between ICT and our technology suppliers while ensuring the services delivered genuinely meet business needs, not just contractual metrics.

This role is ideal for someone who can establish credibility quickly, and confidently challenge suppliers to deliver on their commitments.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing the performance, governance, commercial relationships, and risk oversight of a diverse portfolio of ICT suppliers, including managed service providers, cloud vendors, software providers, telephony partners, and infrastructure suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning and developing the ICT supplier management framework.
• Acting as the single point of contact between ICT and all technology suppliers.
• Managing supplier performance, service reviews, KPIs, SLAs, and governance reporting.
• Holding suppliers accountable for service quality, delivery standards, and contractual commitments.
• Challenging poor performance, driving remediation plans, and escalating where necessary.
• Managing supplier contracts, renewals, negotiations, and service credits.
• Overseeing supplier risk, compliance, and assurance activities.
• Developing supplier exit strategies and maintaining awareness of alternative solutions.
• Producing meaningful management information and supplier scorecards for senior leadership.
• Supporting a regulated technology environment across multiple European jurisdictions.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial awareness with the confidence and technical understanding to challenge suppliers effectively.

You'll ideally have:

• Significant experience in supplier, vendor, or technology contract management.
• Experience managing managed service providers, cloud suppliers, software vendors, telephony providers, or outsourced technology partners.
• A proven track record of improving supplier performance and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Strong contract management and commercial negotiation skills.
• Experience producing governance reporting and supplier performance metrics for senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of third-party risk management and supplier assurance.
• Understanding of GDPR, DORA, NIS2, FCA requirements, or other regulated environments.
• A good understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, networking, and IT service management principles.

Hybrid Working Available Occasional Travel Required

Desirable Qualifications

• ITIL Foundation or equivalent.
• CIPS qualification or similar commercial accreditation.
• Experience within financial services or another regulated industry.
• Experience supporting supplier audits, regulatory reviews, or supplier exit activities.
