About National Education Group (NEG)

National Education Group (NEG), a leading EdTech SaaS business in the global education sector, backed by Synova. Through platforms including The National College, NEG supports over 54,000 institutions and more than 1.5 million educators worldwide, work recognised with 21 major EdTech awards, including Supplier of the Year on multiple occasions.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on multichannel campaign marketer to lead integrated, conversion-focused campaigns this winter. You'll own November and December campaigns, get New Year activity planned early, and keep every email going out on time.

We work B2B2C: we reach schools and trusts as organisations, and educators as individuals. That means your campaigns will drive both lead generation and online digital sales.

What You'll Deliver

Integrated campaign delivery

  • November and December campaigns: own integrated campaigns across email, paid media, organic social, website and landing pages, and get every one launched on schedule
  • New Year planning: agree objectives, themes and audiences for January, and have briefs and channel plans ready before the December break
  • Always-on activity: refresh, repurpose and optimise ongoing campaigns so they work alongside topical activity, never against it

Audiences and propositions

  • Segments and TAMs: plan campaigns for different audiences, from school and trust leaders to individual educators, adapting messaging, propositions and calls to action for each
  • New Business campaigns: engage non-members with insight and sector updates that convert into membership enquiries, demo requests and PAYG sales
  • Reactive PAYG campaigns: when Department for Education guidance changes, get relevant training in front of the right audience across the right channels, aiming for 24 hours from announcement to launch

Creative and execution

  • Creative briefing: turn campaign objectives into clear briefs for Design, Content and Digital, keeping messaging and creative consistent across every channel
  • HubSpot build and send: write, build, QA and schedule emails, landing pages, forms and simple nurture sequences using our existing templates

Performance and collaboration

  • Conversion and testing: track engagement, leads, digital sales and pipeline; run at least one A/B test a month; and share a monthly summary with clear recommendations
  • Stakeholders: keep Content, Design, Digital, Product Marketing and Sales aligned, and brief Sales on every launch
  • Handover: leave a clear handover, covering live campaigns, the roadmap, open briefs and key contacts

What You'll Bring

Essential

  • Multichannel campaign management: you understand how email, paid media, organic social, website and landing pages work together, and you've co-ordinated integrated campaigns across them
  • Segment and TAM management: you've planned and run campaigns across multiple audiences, segments and TAMs, tailoring messaging, propositions and calls to action for each
  • Direct-response marketing: you write conversion-focused copy and shape creative across email, web, landing pages and digital ads, and you know what drives engagement, leads and digital sales
  • Creative briefing: you turn campaign objectives into clear briefs that Design, Content and Digital teams can run with
  • Commercial and conversion focus: you're confident with conversion optimisation, testing and campaign data, and you spot opportunities to improve results across both lead generation and online sales
  • Hands-on HubSpot execution: you build emails, landing pages, forms, lists and simple workflows in Marketing Hub without needing support
  • Ready to hit the ground running: you're comfortable picking up live campaigns in week one

Nice to have

• Experience in a B2B2C model, or marketing to education, membership or subscription audiences

• Familiarity with the UK schools sector or the DfE policy landscape

Ready to apply?

Send your CV, a couple of campaign emails you've written and built, and your availability from 16 November. We're aiming to have someone in place by mid-November, so we'll move quickly
