Support access to other health and local services according to need
Supporting women
An important part of your job will be helping women who may find it difficult to use health and support services.
You will work with different groups of women, including sex workers, LGBTQI+ communities, racialised communities, and women affected by domestic or gender-based violence.
You will build good relationships with local services and communities. You will also support and coordinate peer volunteers, develop and facilitate workshops and conduct outreach work on foot or in a van.
You will help people get the right support, including testing, treatment and other health and support services.
A chance to help build something new
This is a practical, hands-on role. You will work directly with people and communities and take an active role in the development of this new service.
It is an opportunity to use your own experience and skills to help make health and harm reduction services easier for people to access.
This role is open to women only, in line with the sex-based occupational requirements allowed under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
