Part-Time Finance Officer £13,000 - £13,500 (pro-rata) 2 Days Per Week
Experienced in finance administration, bookkeeping, or accounts and looking for a part-time opportunity with an established organisation?
We're recruiting for a Part-Time Finance Officer to join a well-established organisation in the Fakenham area. This is a varied finance role suited to an organised and reliable individual with practical experience across accounts, payroll, VAT, and general finance administration.
The Role
As a Finance Officer, you will:
- Prepare monthly payroll and pension submissions
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Manage the purchase ledger and supplier payments
- Handle credit control and outstanding payments
- Complete banking and account reconciliations
- Assist with management accounts
- Support year-end accounts and auditing processes
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records
- Provide general finance and accounts administration as required
Finance Officer Requirements
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts, or finance administration
- Practical payroll experience
- Experience preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Previous credit control experience
- Good numeracy and attention to detail
- Competent using Excel
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
- Good communication and administrative skills
