Private Tax Manager

£38,000 - £47,000 DOE
Our client, a successful and growing professional services organisation, is looking for an ambitious Private Tax Manager to join their expanding tax team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As the Private Tax Manager, you'll work with a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and trusts, tackling interesting and complex tax matters while building trusted client relationships and developing your technical expertise.

The Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients and trusts
- Prepare and review self-assessment returns and tax computations
- Advise on IHT, CGT, residence and domicile matters
- Support clients with tax planning and advisory projects
- Prepare engaging reports, recommendations and client correspondence
- Build trusted relationships with clients and professional advisers
- Review junior work and support the development of colleagues
- Identify opportunities to introduce wider specialist services
The Candidate:
- ATT or CTA qualified, or equivalent
- Previous experience across personal tax compliance and advisory
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation
- Highly organised with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional, personable and confident building client relationships
