Private Client Tax Manager

Looking for your next step as a Private Client Tax Manager in Watford? In this role, you will manage a broad range of private client tax work for individuals, trusts, landlords and owner managed business directors, leading on compliance and planning, providing clear, practical tax advice and building strong, lasting relationships with clients. You will also help to guide and develop junior colleagues, making this an ideal opportunity for a tax specialist who enjoys both technical work and team leadership.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Manage and develop a varied portfolio of private client tax clients
• Review personal tax returns and oversee compliance work
• Advise on CGT, IHT and property tax planning
• Build strong relationships with clients and partners
• Mentor and support junior members of the tax team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• CTA, ATT, ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent tax experience
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of private client tax
• Proven experience managing clients and reviewing the work of others
• Excellent communication skills
