Job Description

  • Leeds (2 days in the office)
  • £40,000 - £50,000 + Benefits

This opportunity would suit someone currently working within a second or third line compliance, risk, assurance, internal audit or regulatory function who enjoys interpreting FCA regulations and providing practical guidance to stakeholders across the business.

You'll play a key role in helping the organisation understand and implement regulatory requirements, monitor compliance risks, and support a strong governance and control environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret FCA regulations and assess their impact on the business.
  • Provide practical regulatory guidance and advice to key stakeholders.
  • Support compliance monitoring, assurance and risk assessment activities.
  • Assist with policy reviews, regulatory reporting and governance processes.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and emerging compliance risks.
  • Support business change initiatives from a regulatory and compliance perspective.
  • Help promote a strong culture of compliance and good conduct across the organisation.

About You

  • Experience within a Compliance, Risk, Assurance, Internal Audit or Regulatory function in financial services.
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations and the UK regulatory landscape.
  • Exposure to second or third line risk and compliance environments.
  • Ability to interpret regulation and communicate requirements clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience within wealth management, investments, banking, insurance or another regulated financial services environment would be advantageous.
