The Role

As a 1st Line Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for IT support issues, delivering excellent service and ensuring users receive prompt and effective solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1st Line technical support via phone, email and ticketing systems
• Troubleshooting hardware, software and networking issues
• Supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services
• Setting up and configuring laptops, desktops and mobile devices
• Managing user accounts and permissions
• Escalating more complex issues to senior engineers when required
• Maintaining accurate ticket updates and documentation
• Delivering an excellent customer experience at every interaction

About You

We're open to candidates from MSP's or internal IT support environments. The most important thing is that you have a solid grounding in IT support and the desire to keep learning.

You'll ideally have:

• At least 12 months' experience in a 1st Line IT Support role
• Experience working within an MSP or internal IT environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows operating systems
• Basic networking knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A proactive and positive attitude
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential due to location)
