We are currently looking for a Speech and Language Therapist Band: 6

Clinical responsibilities

• To be professionally and legally accountable and responsible for all aspects of your work, including the management of children and families in your care.
• To develop and maintain the skills required to practise at a highly skilled level within the community and to work in an isolated environment.
• To undertake the comprehensive autonomous assessment of children and young people, including those with complex presentations, using investigative and analytical skills.
• To analyse and interpret clinical and non-clinical information to form an accurate profile of strengths, difficulties and needs, diagnoses and prognoses in a wide range of complex conditions.
• To assess capacity to consent, gain valid, informed consent and work within a legal framework with patients and family members who lack capacity to consent to treatment.
