Factory Operative

The Best Connection are currently working with our client based in Washington. They now require a Factory Operative to join their busy team.

Duties will include:

Manufacturing a range of furniture for use in high security, custodial establishments therefore a Basic DBS is required to be undertaken prior to starting.

The role:

Measure, cut, shape and assemble wood and other materials

Using machines and hand tools.

Installation work in local sites. As they carry out installation at various locations in the UK there may be a requirement to work away from home as well as in the North East

May involve heavy lifting

Travel to site is paid

Hotel accommodation provided

25 sustenance allowance as well as any other out of pocket expenses reimbursed

Experience:

CSCS card

Driving licence is essential

Joinery (NVQ or 1 years experience)

CSCS card

Hours of work:

Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.00pm

Friday 6.30am - 3.00pm

Rate of Pay:

Basic 14.00 - 15.75 per hour depending upon experience.

The roles have immediate start dates and will be ongoing temporary positions with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidates.
