ABOUT THE ROLE:

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Engineer to join our Internal Sales team in Hyde. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with technical sales experience who enjoys building customer relationships, providing technical solutions, and driving sales growth.

Working closely with customers, external sales teams, manufacturing, and supply chain colleagues, you'll play a key role in converting quotations into orders while delivering outstanding customer service and technical support.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing and managing quotations for fabricated water fitting products.
• Following up quotations and converting opportunities into sales.
• Providing product advice, technical support, pricing, lead times, and delivery information.
• Managing pricing and discount structures within agreed authority levels.
• Negotiating competitive market rates while protecting profitability.
• Liaising with manufacturing to ensure orders, lead times, and production schedules remain on track.
• Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity information within the CRM system.
• Supporting the External Sales team to identify opportunities and maximise revenue growth.
• Producing management information and quote conversion reports.
• Ensuring all sales activities comply with company and ISO procedures.

ABOUT YOU:

• Experience in an internal sales, technical sales, sales engineering, or customer service environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand and explain technical products and solutions.
• Commercial awareness with confidence in pricing and negotiations.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
