Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill is located in the prestigious Marylebone area of London's West End, overlooking the gardens of Portman Square and just moments from Oxford Street and Hyde Park. Duties and responsibilities related to the Human Resources Intern role

Working alongside the Human Resources team, you'll gain hands on experience across the full employee lifecycle while developing the knowledge and skills to build a successful career in Human Resources.

As our HR Intern, you will support the Human Resources team with a variety of administrative and people-focused activities, including:

• Providing day to day administrative support to the Human Resources department.
• Preparing employment contracts, offer letters and other HR documentation.
• Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring colleagues have a smooth and positive experience.
• Maintaining accurate colleague records and personnel files in line with GDPR requirements.
• Assisting with colleague engagement initiatives, recognition programmes and social events throughout the year.
• Helping to organise colleague communications, wellbeing activities and internal HR campaigns.
• Supporting induction programmes, including preparing onboarding materials and coordinating Welcome to Hyatt sessions.
• Maintaining HR systems and ensuring colleague records are accurate and up to date.
• Assisting with general HR administration, including filing, reporting, document management and responding to colleague queries.
• Building positive working relationships with colleagues across all hotel departments while promoting Hyatt's purpose and values.

Working hours are generally Monday to Friday during office hours, although flexibility may occasionally be required to support colleague engagement events or business needs.

Candidates must already have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

About You

This internship is ideal for someone looking to start a career in Human Resources. You may be studying towards a degree or CIPD qualification, have recently graduated, or be looking to gain practical HR experience within the hospitality industry.

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Professional, approachable and passionate about providing excellent colleague service.
• Able to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Proactive, eager to learn and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Competent using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Passionate about developing a career in Human Resources within the hospitality industry.
