• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Experience working with databases or administrative systems
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Previous payroll experience is desirable but not essential
• Experience within a high-volume administration environment would be advantageous

As a Payroll Administrator, you'll support the accurate and timely processing of payroll for colleagues across the business. Responsibilities will include:

• Processing starters, leavers, and employee data changes
• Validating payroll information and identifying discrepancies
• Managing sickness, holiday, maternity and other employee payments
• Supporting payroll audits and compliance checks
• Responding to colleague and manager queries via phone and email
• Processing payroll-related paperwork and correspondence
• Assisting with payroll calculations, reporting and administration activities
• Supporting wider payroll projects and continuous improvement initiatives
