SITE BASED ELECTRICIAN

_ Position Description _
Electrical installation and connection of Air Handling Units (AHUs) on site
Termination of motors, sensors, actuators, control panels, and MCBs
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and GA drawings
Assisting with commissioning, testing, and fault-finding of AHUs
Liaising with site managers, mechanical contractors, and commissioning engineers
Ensuring all work complies with BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and site H&S requirements
Completing site documentation, test certificates, and reports
Occasional support at the manufacturing facility for panel testing or build assistance (as required)
Required Skills / Educations:
Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
ECS / CSCS card
Proven experience in site-based electrical work
Ability to work from drawings and schematics
Full UK driving licence
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Professional attitude with good communication skills
Desirable (but not essential) Skills:
Previous experience working with AHUs, HVAC systems, or BMS controls
Commissioning experience
IPAF/ PASMA
First Aid at Work
Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
