Overview
A leading US law firmis looking for a high-calibre Fund Finance Associateto join its London team. The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of fund finance transactions, working closely with sponsors, asset managers, banks and credit funds on complex and often cross-border matters.
This opportunity is well suited to an associate with 3-7 years' PQEwho is looking to develop their practice within a top-tier US platform, offering high-quality work, strong client exposure and excellent long-term progression prospects.
What You'll Do
- Advise on a wide range of fund finance transactions, including subscription line facilities, NAV financings, hybrid facilities and other fund-level credit structures.
- Support clients throughout the full lifecycle of transactions, from structuring and documentation through to execution and closing.
- Draft, review and negotiate complex financing documentation, including facilities agreements, security packages and related ancillary documents.
- Work closely with sponsors, fund managers, lenders and other stakeholders to deliver practical and commercial solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues across related practice areas such as leveraged finance, structured finance, tax, regulatory and private equity.
- Assist with business development initiatives, including client pitches, market updates and relationship development.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market trends and developments in the fund finance space.
About You
- England & Wales qualified solicitor.
- 3-7 years' PQEwith experience advising on fund finance transactions at a leading law firm.
- Strong academic background from a reputable institution.
- Solid technical skills and experience handling complex fund finance documentation.
- Commercially minded, proactive and able to manage workstreams with increasing autonomy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
