Salary: Band 5 range of £51,250 - £60,250 pa

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in the UK - stealing over 12,000 of our dads, grandads, brothers and friends every year.

As the largest men's health charity in the UK, our ambition is clear: to create a world where no man dies from prostate cancer. And this is how we're making that happen. We are the biggest public funder of prostate cancer research, investing millions to revolutionise testing, treatment, and care. We're blazing a trail to a screening programme that could save thousands of lives with regular, accurate tests for all men at risk. And we work tirelessly to spread the word about risk and offer specialist support to people living with the disease.

This is an exciting and pivotal moment for high value fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK. Through our £100 million Raise the Game appeal, we are accelerating our progress over the next 5 years, to transform how men and their families navigate prostate cancer. We are now seeking a Senior Philanthropy Manager to be at the heart of this mission - securing and stewarding major gifts that will directly fund life-saving research, drive innovation, and ensure more men receive the right treatment at the right time. You will develop and lead on major donor fundraising, working with some of our most influential supporters to unlock gifts that drive real change. You will also motivate and support a small team of fundraisers, and help them to successfully cultivate their portfolios.

About you
You will be a highly collaborative major gifts fundraiser with a strong track record of developing and securing high-five-figure and six figure gifts. You'll thrive in fast-paced, ambitious environments, bringing both strategic thinking and the ability to turn plans into action. A confident communicator, people manager and natural relationship builder, you'll be adaptable, curious and skilled at building trust and credibility with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in health or medical fundraising would be valuable, but not essential. What is essential is your ability to interpret complex, specialist information into compelling funding propositions. Underpinning all of this is your passion for driving positive change and your belief in the power of philanthropy to make a meaningful difference.
