Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Salisbury, Wiltshire, is seeking an experienced and fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager
- Ensure all work adheres to quality procedures and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and vehicle performance
- Complete documentation and communicate effectively with team members and management
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet team targets and uphold dealership standards
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Ideally, 1-2 years of technical experience post-qualification within a franchise-approved dealership (not essential but preferred)
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Committed, motivated, and a team player
- Ability to produce high-quality work within a fast-paced, stringent dealer environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and aim to meet or exceed targets
