Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) Tier 2 Ripley, Police Station

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) Tier 2 on a 12-month fixed term basis.

In this role, you'll deliver a comprehensive and effective forensic service to the East Midlands region, supporting the investigative and criminal justice process while ensuring compliance with codes of practice and identifying opportunities for innovation.

• Providing a CSI service that maximises forensic opportunities for complex, serious and major crime investigations
• Advising local investigators on forensic matters to ensure full evidence is gained.
• Participating in specialist CSI workstreams.

• Detailed knowledge, skills and experience in Crime Scene examination and forensic processes.
• Stage 1 COP Crime Scene Investigator qualified or equivalent.
• Skilled analysing data, forming conclusions and making decisions/recommendations in verbal and written reports.
