About the Company

I am currently working with a well-established specialist contractor that delivers drylining, ceilings, partitions, SFS, plastering and interior packages across London and the Home Counties. With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, the business works with a range of leading main contractors on residential, commercial, education and mixed-use developments.

About the Role

Due to continued growth, I am looking to speak with experienced Drylining Estimators who are looking to join a successful and expanding contractor.

Working closely with the pre-construction team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for drylining and interior packages, helping to secure a steady pipeline of profitable work.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing tender documentation, drawings and specifications.
  • Preparing detailed take-offs and cost estimates.
  • Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Identifying value engineering opportunities.
  • Producing comprehensive tender submissions.
  • Attending pre-tender and post-tender meetings.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and internal teams throughout the bid process.
  • Assisting with handovers to operational teams following project award.

Requirements
  • Previous estimating experience within the drylining, ceilings, partitions or interiors sector.
  • Strong understanding of drylining systems and associated packages.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience producing detailed take-offs and tender submissions.
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
