We are working with one of London's most exciting entertainment and immersive destinations to find a Commercial Director to lead its Experiential, Events and Venue Sales business on a maternity cover contract.

This is a senior commercial leadership role spanning brand activations, experiential campaigns, corporate events and venue sales across a unique portfolio of high-profile spaces.

It's an excellent opportunity for someone from the experiential, events, venues or media world who can lead a team, drive revenue and build senior relationships with brands, agencies and corporate clients.

You'll lead an established commercial team and take responsibility for revenue across experiential activations and venue event sales.

The business operates some of Central London's most innovative immersive and live entertainment spaces, hosting everything from global brand activations and product launches to live entertainment, premieres, corporate events and private hires.

Reporting to the Chief of Growth, you'll continue to develop an integrated commercial strategy, bringing together experiential and venue sales to maximise revenue and cross-selling opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning revenue targets across Experiential, Events and Venue Sales
• Leading and developing an established commercial team
• Driving an integrated sales strategy across brand activations, corporate events and venue hire
• Identifying new commercial opportunities across brands, agencies and corporate clients
• Building senior relationships with experiential agencies, brand marketers, media agencies, venue finders and corporate bookers
• Leading high-value pitches and commercial negotiations
• Supporting the team in developing creative, commercially viable responses to client briefs
• Driving repeat business and developing long-term client partnerships
• Creating cross-selling opportunities across the wider venue and experiential portfolio
• Overseeing pipeline, CRM, forecasting and revenue performance
• Working closely with Creative, Marketing, Programming, Operations, Client Experience and wider commercial teams
• Ensuring opportunities are both creatively ambitious and commercially sound
• Coaching and developing senior members of the team
• Maintaining strong commercial discipline around pricing, margins and profitability

We're looking for a strong commercial leader who understands how to sell experiences, events or venues and is comfortable operating at a senior level with both clients and agencies.

You'll ideally bring:

• Senior commercial experience within experiential, events, venues, media or a closely related industry
• A strong track record of delivering revenue growth
• Experience leading and developing sales teams
• Excellent relationships across brands, agencies and/or corporate clients
• Experience pitching and negotiating significant commercial opportunities
• Strong new business and account development skills
• An understanding of how to turn client objectives into creative commercial solutions
• Strong pipeline management, forecasting and commercial reporting skills
• A collaborative leadership style and the ability to work across multiple internal teams
• The confidence to step into an established senior role and make an immediate impact
