Field Service Engineer

What We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from engineers with experience in areas such as:

• Plant and construction equipment
• Plant hire machinery
• Generator servicing and maintenance
• Agricultural machinery
• Heavy vehicle or commercial vehicle engineering
• Automotive engineering
• Material handling equipment
• Access equipment
• Powered machinery
• Mobile service and maintenance roles

You should ideally have:

• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
• Electrical fault-finding experience
• Experience working with engines, motors, batteries, charging systems or powered equipment
• Hydraulic knowledge
• The ability to diagnose faults independently
• Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
• A full UK driving licence
• Good communication and customer service skills

Direct experience within the sector is not essential. We are particularly interested in engineers with strong transferable skills who can diagnose faults and work confidently across mechanical and electrical systems.
