FLT Driver - Wigan
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Driver to join our well-established client based in Wigan.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, excellent rates of pay and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
This role may be suitable for candidates with experience as a Forklift Truck Operator.
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00
- Friday 08:00 to 14:00
Pay Rate:
- £12.90 per hour

Day to Day Duties:
As an FLT Driver, your duties will include:
- Operating FLT trucks to pick and replenish stock
- Supporting the packing team with preparing orders for dispatch
- Stacking and wrapping pallets
- General warehouse housekeeping duties
- Breaking down and disposing of cardboard and warehouse waste
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Carrying out general cleaning and tidying duties as required
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be successful as an FLT Driver are:
- Valid RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance Licence
- Hard-working, reliable and punctual approach to work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to support warehouse operations
Desirable Experience:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience operating Reach trucks within a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Experience working to productivity targets
Training:
- Full site training provided
- Ongoing support throughout your assignment
