The RoleAs an Expatriate & Employment Tax Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality tax compliance and advisory services for internationally mobile employees and cross-border remote workers. Working closely with colleagues, assignees and external stakeholders, you will assist throughout the assignment lifecycle, ensuring tax obligations are met accurately and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist expertise in expatriate and employment tax, while leveraging technology and AI tools to drive process improvements and enhance service delivery.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesA genuine interest in developing a long-term career in expatriate and employment tax, with a proactive approach to learning and professional development. Previous experience within a UK tax environment is desirable, ideally gained in an accountancy practice, in house tax team or similar professional services setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work accurately to multiple deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with confidence in handling data and producing accurate reports.
