I am currently looking to speak with experienced Project Development professionals within the BESS and renewable energy sector.
I'm working on an exciting opportunity with a growing business developing grid scale battery energy storage projects across the UK. The role is for a Project Development Manager, with responsibility for taking greenfield BESS projects through the development and pre construction phases.
This is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone with a strong background in project development, grid connections and renewable energy, who wants genuine ownership of projects and the opportunity to see them progress from early stage development through to construction.
Key areas of responsibilityProject Development - leading greenfield BESS projects through the development lifecycle
Grid Connections - supporting grid applications, connection strategy and engagement with network operators
Planning & Consenting - managing planning applications, environmental assessments and associated consents
Land - supporting land agreements and maintaining relationships with landowners
Technical Development - overseeing site investigations, surveys, design development and constructability
Project Management - ownership of programmes, budgets, risks and project reporting
Stakeholder Management - coordinating internal teams, consultants and external stakeholders
Pre Construction - supporting projects through development and into construction
I'd be particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in:
BESS/battery energy storage development
Renewable energy project development
Grid connections and working with network operators
UK planning and consenting
Land acquisition/land agreements
Managing technical, environmental and planning consultants
Taking projects from early stage development through to construction
