Weighbridge Operative
We are currently looking for a Weighbridge Operative to join client based in Stevenage. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, motivated and keen to learn, with full training available for the right candidate.
Hours
- 6:00am 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Some Saturdays available as overtime paid at time and a half
Pay
- £13.70 per hour no FL experience required
- £13.95 per hour with FL experience
- Annual bonus
- Full training available, with the opportunity to work towards FL training in the future
Duties
- Operating the weighbridge and completing weighbridge tickets
- Material grading experience is preferred but full training can be provided
- Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and legibly
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the site
The ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Self-driven and motivated
- Reliable and punctual
- Keen and willing to learn
- Able to produce clear, legible handwriting for weighbridge tickets
- Experienced in material grading is advantageous, but not essential
- Responsible and able to work independently
