Moon Moments is a recruitment and talent acquisition partner representing a growing client in Manchester that is expanding its community fundraising team. We're currently recruiting for a Fundraiser to help represent nationally recognised charities through face-to-face conversations with members of the public.
This isn't a telephone fundraising or office-based role. As a Fundraiser, you'll work within local communities, speaking with people where they live, work, and shop. Your role is to raise awareness of important causes, share the impact the charities are making, and help inspire long-term support.
No previous fundraising experience is required. Full training, mentoring, and ongoing support will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for graduates, career changers, and anyone looking to build experience in fundraising, customer engagement, or community outreach.

About the Role
As a Fundraiser, you'll be the face and voice of the charities you represent, helping members of the public understand their mission, values, and the impact their ongoing support can make.
Every conversation is an opportunity to educate, inspire, and build lasting relationships with future supporters.
What You'll Be Doing
Engaging members of the public through face-to-face conversations across Manchester
Raising awareness of charity campaigns, missions, and community impact
Sharing inspiring stories and explaining how regular support helps charities continue their work
Answering questions honestly and ensuring supporters fully understand the fundraising campaign
Helping new supporters complete the sign-up process professionally and accurately
Working towards individual and team fundraising goals
Attending daily team briefings, training sessions, and ongoing coaching
Continuously developing your communication, fundraising, and customer engagement skills

No previous fundraising or sales experience is necessary. Full campaign knowledge, coaching, and ongoing support will be provided.

Pay & Benefits
Earnings range between £1935 - £2000 per calender month. Including a combination of base pay and uncapped on-target earnings through performance-based incentives (subject to successful completion of a four-week probationary period)
