The Opportunity
We're looking for a full-time Optical Assistant who enjoys building relationships with patients and takes pride in delivering a personalised experience. You'll be responsible for helping patients choose frames and lenses that suit both their prescription and lifestyle, while providing expert advice and excellent service throughout their visit.
This is a varied role where you'll support patients from their initial appointment through to collection and aftercare, ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and confident every step of the way. You'll also carry out frame fittings, adjustments, and repairs, assist with more complex prescriptions alongside the wider team, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has excellent attention to detail, and is committed to delivering genuine, patient-focused care. You'll have the support and resources needed to work to a high standard without the pressure of rushed appointments or sales-driven targets.

Previous experience working within an optical practice is essential.
