Infrastructure, Managing Director

Job Description

Originate, source and execute infrastructure investments. Identify, evaluate and develop investment opportunities and seek strategic co-investors. Lead due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation of terms sheets, purchase agreements and financing terms. Negotiate and structure major transactions. Direct the execution of investment transactions; monitor the strategic, operational and financial performance of the fund's portfolio investments. Participate in internal and external meetings, the negotiation of contracts and other agreements, and due diligence sessions. Oversee the analysis of financial data and monitoring developments in financial markets important to the business of the Blackstone Group. Direct research of targeted industries for investment purposes. Perform valuation analyses of prospective investment opportunities under consideration, including the assessment of financial risks. Compare financial data of investments of the same industry, size and location to forecast industry trends. Oversee the work of Analysts, Associates, and Principals; including the design and development of quantitative models used by analysts to assess the economic performance of investment opportunities. Manage the preparation of written analyses and evaluations of investment opportunities for use by Blackstone Group management.
