We're working with a growing and highly respected provider of bespoke energy and building services solutions who are looking to add an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to their team.

You'll be trusted to manage your own workload, solve technical challenges, and deliver first-class service across a portfolio of customer sites along the M1 corridor.
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and commissioning a wide range of commercial and industrial heating systems. You'll be the technical expert on site, diagnosing faults, providing solutions and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
Service, maintain and repair commercial boilers, forced-draught burners, water heaters, warm air units and radiant tube heaters
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs across a range of gas-fired equipment
Commission boilers, burners, water heaters and warm air systems
Test and purge pipework systems in line with IGEM/UP/1A and IGEM/UP/1 standards
Participate in a paid on-call rota
Work closely with the helpdesk and operations teams to achieve service level agreements
Follow site-specific RAMS and company procedures
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current legislation and industry best practice
Current Commercial Gas qualifications including COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, TPCP1 & 1A and ICPN1
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience using electrical testing equipment
Completed industry-recognised apprenticeship
Full UK driving licence
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
Confident using handheld electronic devices
In addition to commercial gas duties, you must be willing to undertake ancillary mechanical and building services works as required, including plumbing, expansion vessel replacements, pump changes and actuator replacements, including wiring.
Up to £48,000 basic salary
