Production Operative - Temp to Perm

Location: Brackley
Pay: £14.42 per hour (Temporary) £30,000 per annum (Permanent)

Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of our well-established client in Brackley for a Production Operative to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity, offering £14.42 per hour during the temporary assignment, increasing to £30,000 per annum upon securing a permanent contract.

Working Hours

This role operates on a rotating two-week shift pattern:

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
  
  
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm
  
  

Key Responsibilities

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Operating expansion and extruder machinery safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Running the production process for loose-fill products.
  
  
• Bagging products in the correct quantities in line with the production schedule.
  
  
• Cleaning machinery and equipment after use.
  
  
• Ensuring products are stored correctly.
  
  
• Assisting with the loading of vehicles (an FLT licence is desirable).
  
  
• Supporting goods-in activities as required.
  
  
• Liaising with supervisors and managers to ensure production targets are met.
  
  
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  
  
• Adhering to all company health and safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  
  
• Providing flexibility to cover holidays and sickness when required.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working within a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  
  
• A good understanding of health and safety within a production setting.
  
  
• A reliable and proactive approach to work.
  
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
  
  
• Willingness to learn and work flexibly.
  
  
• An FLT licence is desirable but not essential.
