We're working with a leading global technology consultancy that's looking to hire talented Software Engineers to join its growing Software & Platform Engineering team in Manchester.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop cutting-edge cloud-native applications for some of the world's leading organisations. You'll work alongside highly skilled engineers, using modern technologies to build scalable digital solutions while developing your technical expertise across a variety of industries.

The Role

As a Software Engineer, you'll be involved throughout the full software development lifecycle, designing, building and deploying modern applications using cloud-native technologies and agile engineering practices.

Working within collaborative teams, you'll help deliver secure, scalable software while contributing to automation, continuous improvement and engineering best practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build and deploy cloud-native applications
  • Develop secure, scalable and high-performing software
  • Contribute to CI/CD, testing and automation
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions
Skills & Experience

We're looking for experience with several of the following:

  • Java, C#, Python, Go or TypeScript
  • React, Angular, Vue or Svelte
  • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Infrastructure as Code
  • CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins
Desirable
  • NoSQL technologies such as Elasticsearch
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork

Security Clearance
