Location: Aust, Bristol (BS35) Pay: Competitive PAYE Rate + Holiday Pay Contract: Temporary Ongoing Hours: Full Time
Lynx Employment Services are recruiting experienced Industrial Painters to support a major bridge maintenance project based in Aust, Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile infrastructure project carrying out specialist protective coating and maintenance works on one of the UK's most important bridge networks.

The Role

As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and applying protective coatings to structural steelwork, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare steel surfaces using mechanical preparation methods.
  • Apply industrial protective coating systems to bridge steelwork.
  • Carry out coating repairs and maintenance painting.
  • Work safely from access platforms, scaffolding and MEWPs.
  • Follow project specifications and quality procedures.
  • Complete work in accordance with health and safety legislation.
  • Work effectively as part of a bridge maintenance team.

Essential Requirements

ICATS or Train the Painter Gold certification. Valid CSCS Card. National Highways Passport. Previous industrial painting experience on bridges, highways, marine, rail or heavy infrastructure projects. Ability to commute to Aust, Bristol (within approximately 1.5 hours). A strong commitment to safe working practices.
