An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) to join a well-established and respected law firm.
This is an exciting opportunity to walk into an established and active caseload, allowing the successful candidate to make an immediate impact while working alongside a supportive and experienced team. The firm is looking for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, delivering pragmatic legal advice, and contributing to the continued success of the department.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage a varied caseload of dispute resolution matters from instruction through to conclusion.
Advise clients on a broad range of civil and commercial disputes.
Represent clients during negotiations, mediation, and where appropriate, court proceedings.
Draft legal documents, witness statements, correspondence, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing clear and practical legal advice.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and professional contacts.
Assist with business development and networking activities to support the continued growth of the department.
Ensure compliance with SRA regulations, court rules, and internal procedures.
Provide guidance and support to junior members of the team where appropriate.
Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX).
23+ years' PQE (or equivalent post-qualification experience for CILEX professionals).
Ability to manage a litigation caseload with minimal supervision.
Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and dispute resolution processes.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to resolving disputes.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
The successful candidate may have experience in some or all of the following:
Commercial litigation
Property litigation
Contract disputes
Landlord and tenant matters
Boundary disputes
Debt recovery
Professional negligence
Contentious probate
Desirable but not essential:
Qualified Mediator or experience conducting mediations.
Salary up to £70,000, dependent on experience.
