Senior Product Manager (Clean Energy Investments) London
Capital Dynamics
Senior Product Manager (Clean Energy Investments) About Capital Dynamics: Capital Dynamics is an independent global asset management firm focusing on private assets, including private equity (primaries, secondaries and direct investments) and clean energy. Established in 1988, the Firm has extensive knowledge and experience developing solutions tailored to meet the exacting needs of a diverse and global client base of institutional and private wealth investors. Capital Dynamics oversees more than USD 14 billion in assets under management and advisement and employs approximately 150 professionals globally across 14 offices in Europe, North America, and Asia. Capital Dynamics is a recognized industry leader in responsible investment, receiving top marks (Five Stars) from PRI across all categories and investment strategies, as well as in GRESB benchmarking for its clean energy strategy. THE OPPORTUNITY: Capital Dynamics' Product Development & Strategy (PDS) team launches every product on the CD platform and owns several of the firm's most critical strategic initiatives, including its ESG programme. Clean Energy sits at the centre of that growth story: we are one of the largest UK onshore wind operators and hold one of the largest subsidy-free solar PV portfolios in Europe, with value further enhanced through our dedicated asset management affiliate, NetroEnergy Limited. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager with genuine presence and gravitas to represent our growing Clean Energy investment business - someone equally comfortable in a boardroom with senior leadership and in front of a room of institutional investors. This is a senior, highly visible role built around influence rather than headcount: you'll be supported by one junior team member, and your impact will come from the calibre of your thinking, the strength of your relationships, and your ability to move investment committees, colleagues and prospective LPs - not from the size of a team beneath you. You will bring deep knowledge of the clean energy infrastructure equity and debt markets, meaningful existing relationships with investors in the sector, and the ability to get quickly up to speed on a complex, fast-moving business. Working closely with the Clean Energy Investment team, you'll cultivate prospective investors, deepen relationships with our established client base, analyse the LP market for new capital, and drive genuinely original product innovation for the business. WHAT YOU'LL OWN: Lead the creation, launch and coordination of creative marketing strategies for clean energy investment products, in line with fundraising goals and process. Take full responsibility for the compilation of fund offering documents and due diligence materials. Drive genuine product innovation for the Clean Energy business - bringing original, commercially astute thinking to new product structures and positioning, rather than defaulting to convention. Oversee the completion of RFPs, surveys and due diligence questionnaires. Stakeholder & Client Management Cultivate prospective investors and deepen relationships with our established client base, acting as a credible, senior-level point of contact for the business. Analyse the LP market to identify potential clean energy infrastructure investors and shape our approach to engaging them. Act as first point of contact for the sales team - prioritising requests and resource allocation, and serving as the interface between sales and the investment management team. Manage the creation of client communications, reports and investment summaries, partnering closely with client relations and investment management. Insight, ESG & Profile Lead the integration of ESG initiatives into all Clean Energy products. Oversee production of the annual Clean Energy sustainability report and other bespoke reporting. Coordinate regular updates to all client-facing materials, including the due diligence data site, funds track record and company website. Conduct and update competitor analysis in collaboration with research and investment management. Create bespoke materials for roadshows, events and conferences, representing Capital Dynamics with credibility at senior industry gatherings. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Experience years in a similar Private Equity Infrastructure, Renewable Energy or Clean Energy investments product development and/or investor relations leadership role, ideally at a buy side firm. Ideally can illustrate experience managing the lauch of minimum of two (2) clean energy / renewable infrastructure fund / product. Excellent technical financial knowledge and analytical ability, including financial ratios such as IRR, NPV and dividend yield. Proven, process oriented project management ability. A deep track record of writing top quality, high impact professional presentations, using original ideas where necessary. Skills & Attributes Mature, creative, solutions oriented thinking with a genuine "driver" personality and the gravitas to represent the business externally. Ability to write and edit content with a very high degree of precision, and exceptional attention to detail across your own work and others'. Comfortable operating with minimal supervision or structure - a self starter capable of running high impact initiatives without a large team behind you. Willingness to work in a performance driven, high pressure environment. High proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Education & Qualifications Minimum 2:1 degree from a recognised university, in Business, Finance, Responsible Investment, Renewable Energy or a related field. A keen interest in Responsible Investment and targets such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, or a genuine willingness to learn. Language Fluent English with superior writing skills - essential. Additional language skills desirable but not essential, preferably Italian, Spanish, German, French, Korean or Japanese. Our Equal Opportunity Commitment: Capital Dynamics is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating a global diverse workforce. We are a global company with 24 nationalities represented across our staff in 14 offices, spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. We believe diversity and inclusion ("D&I") is key to being better at what we do, and our initiatives are designed to attract, develop, and advance talented individuals, regardless of race, sexual orientation, religion, age, gender, disability status or any other dimension of diversity. We welcome and strongly encourage suitably qualified applicants from a wide range of backgrounds to apply to join Capital Dynamics. Please inform our recruitment team if you have a disability, condition or difference that may require us to make any adjustments as part of your application process or during employment. Disclaimer: Due to the volume of applications we receive, we are only able to contact candidates who have been shortlisted for further consideration. If you have not heard from us within two weeks of submitting your application, please assume that your application has not been successful on this occasion. We appreciate the time you have taken to apply and encourage you to monitor our careers page for future opportunities. London Capital Dynamics Ltd.

Since 2018, we've grown from a deep-tech startup to a global player in AI-driven due diligence and risk intelligence. 2024 was a landmark year as we closed a $10M Series A, earned recognition in the Chartis RiskTech100 and Everest Group's Leading 50 , and expanded our products, markets and customer base. 2025 was even bigger: With new regulations, rising compliance pressure and growing reputation risks, organisations everywhere are demanding smarter, faster ways to work and they're turning to us. Customers worldwide from global law firms and private banks to universities and nonprofits rely on Xapien to turn days of manual research into trusted insights, delivered in minutes. Our momentum so far Customers in a diverse range of industries, with particular growth in wealth management, financial services and supply chain onboarding. Demand accelerating beyond our UK headquarters, across multiple continents with new customers in the Middle East, Asia, and Oceania. Why this is an exciting time to join This isn't just another job role; it's an opportunity to shape the future of the due diligence industry with a market-leading product trusted by global organisations. Whether you're in marketing, communications, sales, or finance, you'll play a critical role in driving growth, building credibility, and defining how we connect our product to a rapidly evolving market. We're scaling fast with more customers, more releases, and bigger regulatory and market challenges. Expectations are rising, due diligence now means real-time insight, delivered efficiently and with impact. You won't just be executing campaigns, closing deals, or managing numbers, you'll be influencing strategy, optimising processes, and helping position a brand that's setting the new standard for trust and transparency. For people who love learning, innovating, and making an impact that matters now is the moment to be a part of Xapien. The Role Xapien turns hours of due diligence research into minutes. Our AI-powered platform reads the internet, corporate records, and premium data sources to build fully-sourced reports on any person or organisation - and our customers increasingly want Xapien woven directly into their own systems and workflows. We're looking for a Technical Product Manager to own the technical surface of our product: the data we bring in, the way our research engine investigates, and the APIs and integrations that embed Xapien in the processes our customers already use. This is a hands-on product role for someone who is comfortable reading API docs, sketching data flows, and debating trade-offs with engineers - then translating all of it into a roadmap that commercial teams and enterprise customers can get behind. You'll frame and prioritise problems independently, own delivery end-to-end, and be the go-to person for anything at the boundary between our product and the outside world. If you're the kind of person who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving puzzles, spotting gaps, and constantly looking for new data to turn into customer insights, this is the role for you! Here's what you will be responsible for As a product manager at Xapien Own your product area end-to-end: frame and prioritise problems independently, propose validated solutions, and ensure on-time, quality releases. Lead discovery with mixed methods - customer interviews, usage data, and market research - and integrate insight into product strategy. Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Solutions, Support, and commercial teams; resolve blockers and dependencies. Fully own your product metrics, balancing user value and commercial value in decisions. This workstream Data integrations Own the roadmap for the external data sources that feed Xapien's research - corporate registries, sanctions and watchlists, adverse media, and premium datasets. Evaluate new data providers: coverage, quality, licensing, cost, and how each source strengthens the reports our customers rely on. Work with engineering to define how new sources are ingested, matched to the right entities, and surfaced in reports with full sourcing. Investigative strategy Shape how Xapien uses those data sources for different use-cases: what the research engine looks for, choosing between sources, and collecting and processing data into a system-ready format. Work embedded in our engineering teams to turn due diligence domain expertise into product behaviour - and to evaluate whether changes actually improve report quality. Champion deep customer understanding of the due diligence workflow and challenge how much of that workflow Xapien can take on. Workflow integrations Own how Xapien plugs into customer workflows - CRMs, onboarding and screening platforms, case management tools - from discovery through to delivery and adoption. Define functional and non-functional requirements with engineering (security, compliance, scalability) and support customers and partners through implementation. Establish success metrics for integrations and iterate based on real usage. API / MCP Own the product direction for Xapien's configuration API and MCP capabilities - how customers and AI agents programmatically configure, run, and consume Xapien research. Drive API design decisions with engineering: consistency, versioning, backwards compatibility, and a developer experience that makes integration easy. Own the documentation and examples that help technical customers succeed, and act as the voice of the developer inside the product team. Your skills & experience Product management experience in B2B SaaS, with meaningful time spent on technical products - APIs, integrations, data platforms, or developer-facing tools. Comfortable reasoning about APIs, webhooks, data mapping, and authentication; able to read technical documentation and hold your own in design discussions with engineers. Hands-on experience with API tooling (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI) and using Claude to accelerate your prototyping, design, and vibe-coded concepts, before engineers make them production-grade. A track record of shipping: you've taken technical features from ambiguous problem to delivered outcome, and can talk about the trade-offs you made along the way. Strong analytical skills - comfortable defining metrics, digging into usage data, and making evidence-based decisions. Excellent communication: you can explain technical constraints to commercial stakeholders and customer needs to engineers, and influence both without direct authority. As we're a growing company, a mentality of spotting gaps as they appear, plugging them, or stepping up and taking ownership as a way to grow your career. Nobody can do everything, but here's a few related things we're interested in Experience in due diligence, governance and compliance, risk, or another data-heavy regulated domain. Familiarity with LLM concepts and emerging agent standards such as MCP. Experience working with third-party data providers and commercial data licensing. Previous experience in a fast-growing startup environment. Here's our promise to you: We are going to work with you - to build a rewarding and fulfilling career with the opportunities, challenges and resources you need to do you your best work. We succeed together- you will own a meaningful part of the business through our employee shares & equity programme. Private health insurance to keep you in tip-top condition. Life Insurance - let's hope nobody ever needs this! Unlimited holidays - yes, it really is uncapped - take the time you need, when you need it. Everyone is learning, developing and challenging themselves so we have a £1k professional development fund per year if you want to learn new skills, even new things outside of work.
