Balfour Beatty is looking to make a critical senior leadership hire and appoint a Project Director to lead the delivery of the Teesdock Road Substation project, based in the North East of England.
The role sits within Balfour Beatty's Power Transmission & Distribution business, a delivery partner to National Grid on the £8bn Electricity Transmission Partnership, responsible for delivering major high- voltage substation infrastructure across England and Wales.
The Project Director is a high-impact, end-to-end leadership role, with full accountability for the successful delivery of one of Balfour Beatty's largest substation projects to date. Reporting into the Operations Director, the role will lead a large, multidisciplinary team and own all aspects of programme, commercial performance, safety, stakeholder management and delivery strategy from mobilisation through to completion.
