Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Consultant / Quality Manager through to Lead Asbestos Consultant / Quality Manager

Profile: A UKAS accredited Asbestos Company who provide the full range of Asbestos services across Local Authority, Healthcare, Housing Association and Facilities Management sites across the UK. Due to continued growth within the business, they are now seeking to employ a competent and diligent Asbestos Consultant / Quality Manager based in and around the Southend-on-Sea area. The successful candidate will have hands on experience conducting Surveying and Analytical duties alongside conducting Quality control and Auditing, ensuring the companies Quality systems are kept up to date and liaising with clients to provide detailed consultancy advice.

• Must hold the P402, P403, P404 (or RSPH) equivalent, and will have extensive experience working within the asbestos industry.
• Experience working within a Asbestos Quality Manager role would be beneficial. However, consideration will be given to strong Asbestos Consultant applications.
• Strong technical knowledge of Asbestos industry and in-depth understanding of all related Health and Safety Legislation.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner.
• We are also interested in anyone with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or S301/CCP.

• Carrying out Management, Demolition and Refurbishment surveys on a mixed portfolio of sites.
• Carrying out 4 stage clearances: Smoke, Background, Leak, Reassurance, Re-occupation, and personal air testing.
• Undertaking visual inspections.
• Managing the company's quality system, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
• Attending all meetings in line with client needs, and ensuring all work is being completed within the agreed time frame.
• Carrying out audits, quality control and inspections.
• Advising on and assisting with any staff training when required.
• Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
• Using industry relevant technology to produce detailed reports and providing clients with consultancy advice.
• Managing staff, dealing with any issues in a timely manner.

• Asbestos Surveyor, Trainee Asbestos Surveyor, Environmental Surveyor, Asbestos Consultant.
