Example Recruitment Group Ltd is looking for an experienced HIU Engineer to join a leading national compliance and energy services provider across North London. Work with a well-established contractor in social housing, delivering heating and energy services with excellent job security and career growth.

The Role

As an HIU Engineer, you will:

• Commission, service, maintain, and fault-find Heat Interface Units (HIUs)

• Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently

• Produce accurate site reports via PDA

• Deliver a professional and courteous service to residents and clients

• Participate in training from manufacturers and internal programs

• Follow health & safety standards at all times

• Travel occasionally or work short periods away from home

Customer service skills are essential as you will be working in occupied properties.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 £45,000 (DOE)

• OTE: Up to £60,000 including overtime & call-out

• Working Hours: 45 hours/week, Monday Friday (8am 6pm), 1-in-4 call-out rota

Requirements

Essential:

• Full UK Driving Licence

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating

• Previous plumbing/heating experience

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Teamwork and time management abilities

Desirable:

• NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating

• Experience with Heat Networks and HIU commissioning, servicing & repairs

• Interest in low-carbon or energy-efficient technologies
