A well-established environmental and planning consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join its growing team in Cardiff. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated Senior Ecologist looking to work across a broad range of environmental, infrastructure and development projects throughout the UK.
The organisation is recognised for delivering high-quality environmental services across planning, ecology and landscape disciplines, working closely with both public and private sector clients. In this Senior Ecologist position, you will oversee ecological surveys, prepare technical reports, support habitat and protected species assessments, and contribute to planning and environmental strategies.

Requirements:
- Previous consultancy experience in an ecological role
- Strong report writing and ecological survey knowledge
- Understanding of UK ecological legislation and planning policy
- Experience with protected species surveys advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Degree in Ecology or a related environmental discipline
- Professional membership with CIEEM desirable
- Must live within a commutable distance of the Cardiff office
