The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is leading an ambitious review of opportunities to reform cancer multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) a key commitment in the National Cancer Plan. We re now looking for a Project Administrator to help drive this important work forward.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile project set to have a long-lasting impact on cancer services, improving how teams collaborate to deliver better outcomes for patients.
You ll play a central role in keeping the project running smoothly, acting as a key point of contact for senior clinicians, policymakers and partners including Macmillan Cancer Support and NHS stakeholders. What you ll do
- Act as the first point of contact for project enquiries, managing correspondence and ensuring timely, professional responses.
- Coordinate and support meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics, and preparing materials.
- Attend meetings, take accurate minutes, and track actions to ensure delivery against deadlines.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor progress, maintain activity logs, and support reporting.
- Help organise stakeholder engagement activities and events, including preparing resources and gathering feedback.
- Maintain clear and compliant records and documentation, supporting effective project delivery.
What you ll need
- Experience in a busy administrative or project support role, using tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities .
- Experience coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and tracking actions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders professionally.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A commitment to delivering a high-quality responsive service.
