Job Description

Accounts Payable Administrator - Basildon, Essex - £27,000 - £34,000

If you're looking to build or develop a career in finance and want a varied, hands-on role with plenty of support around you, this is worth a closer look.

You'll join a growing, successful business based in Basildon with a collaborative and supportive finance team. Full training will be provided, and there's real room to learn and develop in this role.

Day-to-day, you'll process supplier invoices, raise and issue purchase orders, assist with payment runs, reconcile supplier statements, and help resolve queries across the business. You'll also support month-end tasks and develop your understanding of finance operations as you settle in.

What you'll bring

  • Some experience in a finance or office-based admin role (full training provided)
  • A high level of accuracy and a methodical approach
  • Good numeracy and solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • A friendly, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
