Newmarket Finance Business Partner Hybrid working6 month contract - opportunity for permanent conversion Broster Buchanan have been exclusively engaged to support a prestigious client in the Newmarket area with an urgent interim need to hire a commercially minded Finance Business Partner. This position focuses on delivering high-quality financial insight, constructive challenge, and forward-looking analysis to support procurement and commercial teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations, while helping to balance short-term responsiveness with long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge, and decision support
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term planning processes
- Deliver clear, concise analysis to inform procurement and commercial decisions
- Support the evaluation of opportunities, risks, and investment cases
- Help drive performance improvements across revenue, margin, and cost efficiency
- Contribute to the development of reporting and insight capabilities
- Operate within a strong financial control and governance framework
- Build effective relationships across finance, commercial teams, and external partners
The role requires a proactive approach, strong prioritisation skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining a focus on commercial outcomes. Fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA essential as is some experience supporting procurement/ sales departments. May/ early June start preferredClient open to considering professional contractors, or those interested in contract-permanent.
