Salary: £47,000 - £56,000
Hours: Full-time

A growing public sector organisation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Surveyor to support the delivery of responsive repairs and property maintenance across a social housing portfolio.

You'll play a key role in diagnosing defects, managing contractors, and ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake detailed property inspections, diagnosing defects including damp & mould, structural issues, and building fabric failures.

  • Support compliance with HHSRS, fire safety, and asbestos regulations.
  • Contribute to planned maintenance and asset management programmes.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce technical reports.
What we're looking for:
  • Experience in a surveying or property maintenance role within housing or similar.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building pathology, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Experience managing contractors and ensuring quality of works.
  • Understanding of damp & mould, HHSRS, and relevant housing legislation.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
