Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with and a fantastic business based in Chesterfield as they look to recruit an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experience finance professional who is looking to take ownership of the sales ledger function within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the end-to-end sales ledger process
- Raising and processing high volumes of sales invoices accurately
- Allocating cash and reconciling customer accounts
- Chasing outstanding payments and managing aged debt
- Building strong relationships with internal departments and external clients
- Resolving invoice queries in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in a Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems
