General Operative - Southminster - Temporary to permanent opportunity - Full time
12.71 per hour plus attendance bonus ( 13.44 per hour with attendance bonus)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 40 hours per week
Overtime: Paid at 19.07 per hour for hours worked between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm Monday to Friday, paid after core weekly hours are completed
We are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join a busy warehouse and production environment in Southminster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure a long term position with a growing business.
Key Requirements:

Minimum six months experience operating a counterbalance forklift

Valid and in date counterbalance forklift licence

Must have own transport due to location

Willingness to work additional hours and remain flexible during busy periods
Duties Include:

Operating a forklift to move products within the warehouse and facility

Dismantling pallets
-
Reworking finished products
-
Packing finished goods
-
Sweeping and maintaining general housekeeping of the working area
