Job Description

A well-regarded law firm in Tunbridge Wells is looking to strengthen its Private Client team with the addition of an experienced Legal Secretary, with a particular focus on probate work.

This is a key support role within a busy and well-structured department. You'll be working closely with fee earners on a range of probate matters, helping to ensure files progress smoothly while maintaining a high standard of client care.

The firm has built a strong reputation locally and offers a professional but approachable working environment where support staff are genuinely valued.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting solicitors on probate and estate administration matters
  • Preparing correspondence and legal documents
  • Managing diaries, appointments and deadlines
  • Liaising with clients and third parties in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Assisting with the overall organisation of files and department workflow

What they're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within Private Client
  • Probate experience is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills and a client-focused approach
