Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Part-Time, 7 hours per week
Work Pattern: Tuesdays (4.5 hours group facilitation + 2.5 hours admin)
Salary: £24,454.04 per annum, FTE (£4,626.44 per annum actual)
We are searching for a Peer Support Worker to join our mental health services. The role is a peer support worker, who use own lived experience of mental health difficulties to support others on their recovery journey through the facilitation of group based, peer support.
Our peer support and recovery services are a key element of the services we offer, and we are looking for someone who can use their own lived experiences to provide support to help individuals achieve their goals.
Service Delivery
The successful candidate will have an understanding the wellbeing needs of and working with people with mental health needs, including those from culturally diverse communities, personal lived experience of mental health difficulties and recovery and the interpersonal skills required to maintain both working relationships with a wide range of people and appropriate peer relationships with service users.
