About the Company
Our client is a well-established contractor specialising in social housing refurbishment and maintenance projects. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join their team on a contract basis.

The Role
As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the key link between residents, site teams, and the client, ensuring clear communication and a positive customer experience throughout the lifecycle of works.

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role requiring strong interpersonal skills, organisation, and the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents during works

  • Provide clear and regular updates on project progress, timelines, and any disruptions

  • Manage resident enquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution

  • Arrange and attend pre-start meetings, home visits, and follow-up appointments

  • Coordinate access to properties and schedule works with residents

  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and interactions

  • Work closely with site teams and project managers to ensure smooth delivery

  • Identify and provide additional support to vulnerable residents where required

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within social housing

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to handle challenging situations and resolve complaints effectively

  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities

  • Able to work independently and manage a busy workload
