Key Responsibilities
- Support the learning and development of pupils in a Year 2 class
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
- Provide small group and one-to-one support to reinforce key learning
- Assist with classroom management and promote a positive learning environment
- Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Support children with SEND and additional learning needs where required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and patient approach
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Commitment to a long-term role within a primary school setting
