We are hiring for a Meat Trader / Sales Executive to join a well-established and highly respected wholesale food distribution business at their regional depot in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional within the meat trade to step into a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with genuine progression opportunities.

In this role, you will combine your sales expertise with industry knowledge to build strong client relationships and play a key part in driving the continued growth of a successful trading operation.

The Role:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their product requirements and delivering tailored solutions
- Promote and sell a wide range of high-quality protein products
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to maximise profitability
- Stay informed on market trends, pricing movements, and competitor activity
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and transactions

About You:

- Proven experience within sales or a desire to progress into a sales function
- Strong negotiation and commercial awareness
- Ability to analyse market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Full UK driving licence
